Hey there! I’m Thanos Xhurxhi, a 2nd-year PhD at the Institute of Molecular Biology of Plants in Strasbourg. My work revolves around detecting and isolating RNA as a viral infection indicator.
My favorite part of research? Presenting findings and solving real-world challenges.
Outside the lab, you’ll find me jamming to music, dancing, and gaming. I’m thrilled to help organize this year’s DS Days and make it an event to remember!
Hello, my name is Jules Tritschler! I am a first year PhD exploring the diversity of vesicles released by neutrophils (fantastic cell) during bacterial infections.
Next to this work, I am invested since 3 years in the association of the master of immunology to create links between master students and PhD and organize convivial events. I hope I will inject this knowledge into these DS days to create a great day for you!
And because it is not enough, I tried on my personal time to write a book on dark fantasy based on a quest of an unreasonable revenge! (Keep it in your mind for later!)
Hi I’m Apo! I’m a 1st year PhD student working on the links between early life stress and pain at the laboratory of cognitive and adaptive neuroscience (LNCA) here in Strasbourg.
I hope to make the DS days shed light on the many possible paths our PhD has begun to carve.
See you soon!
PS: In my spare time I sing and play music
I'm Maud, a first-year PhD student at CRBS. I'm currently working on Immunology in the field of Autophagy.
Before diving into research, I completed a pharmacy degree and, for now, have chosen pipettes over patients.
I have a lot of experience in student associations, and I'm excited to bring some of my expertise to organizing the DsDays. Trust me, it's going to be amazing!
If you're looking for me in Strasbourg, you'll probably find me in a café, just reading a book and chatting with friends.
P.S.: Don't hesitate to ask me for recommendations on the best cappuccino in town!
